Meteorium Privacy Policy

Meteorium ("the App") is an astronomy visualisation app provided by Avellsky.

• The App does not collect, transmit, or store any data, including personal information.
• The App connects to the network only in the cases below, and none of those requests carries anything about you:
  • when you use “Published data”, it downloads the paper's data files from the public data archive (GitHub);
  • when a Meteorium Pro subscriber uses “Download Pro data”, it downloads the Pro data files from GitHub.
• Meteorium Pro, an auto-renewable subscription, is bought, renewed and cancelled through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google). The App learns only whether a subscription is active; it never receives payment or account details. The purchase status is checked through your device's store service.
• Apart from that, the App makes no network connections: the orbital computation and the rendering all happen on your device.
• Exporting an image, a video or data opens your device's share sheet (a save panel on the Mac). Where the file goes is your choice; the App is not involved.
• Opening a link in the App (the manual, for example) hands off to your device's browser; anything that follows is the browser's traffic, not the App’s.
• There are no ads, no tracking, no analytics, and no accounts.
• Preferences (such as display settings) and downloaded Pro data are stored only on your device.
